The Role

You’ll own critical parts of the market data → signal → order → execution pipeline, building deterministic, observable, and low-latency components suitable for HFT environments.

What You’ll Do

• Build low-latency market data pipelines (tick/order book/trade streams)
• Create quant models/strategies with strong engineering discipline for production
• Track execution quality: p50/p99/p999 latency, slippage, fill-rate, quote-to-fill drift
• Ensure backtest/live consistency (replay, idempotency, ordering guarantees)
• Profile and optimize CPU/memory, contention, GC pressure, kernel/network settings
• Improve observability (metrics/logs/traces) and contribute to incident/postmortem practices

Requirements

• 5+ years in trading systems / market data / low-latency engineering
• Strong in C++ / Rust / Java / Go (at least one)
• Deep understanding of concurrency, backpressure, batching, cache locality
• Linux performance tooling (perf/flamegraphs), CPU pinning, NUMA awareness
• Streaming & caching experience (Kafka/NATS, Redis) and data stores (Postgres/ClickHouse/Time-series)

Nice to Have

• FIX/WebSocket/REST exchange integrations, OMS/EMS, risk engines
• Kernel-bypass familiarity (DPDK/XDP) and NIC/network tuning
• PTP time sync and timestamp accuracy/clock drift handling
• Low-latency cloud architecture experience (AWS/GCP), Docker/K8s
