Role

As an Android Developer at HaloScape, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of innovative, user-centered mobile applications. You will actively contribute to the entire product lifecycle, closely follow the latest Android technologies, and create scalable solutions that enhance both performance and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Develop clean, optimized, and maintainable mobile applications using modern programming languages.
• Perform data integration with cloud-based backends and external service providers.
• Monitor application performance and conduct tests to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement project requirements.
• Research and adopt new frameworks and software development methodologies.

What You’ll Bring

• BA/BSc degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile software development and system-specific development kits.
• Proficiency with professional integrated development environments (IDEs) and mastery of fundamental mobile concepts.
• Experience with cloud-based database products and real-time data services.
• Solid understanding of data exchange formats, communication protocols, and web services.
• Experience with version control systems and collaborative development platforms.
• Strong skills in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Knowledge of build automation tools, asynchronous programming, and modern UI binding techniques.
• Familiarity with diverse mobile ecosystem services and integration requirements.
• Basic knowledge of database management and structured query languages.
• UI & Unit Testing experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Passion for learning and drive to see projects through to completion.
