Job Title: Senior GCP DevOps Engineer

About the Project:

We are building an innovative SQL-to-LLM solution that leverages cutting-edge AI technologies. The project is in its early stages, and we need an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and scale a robust cloud infrastructure tailored to our ambitious product goals.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Plan and set up the entire GCP environment from scratch, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Scalability Planning: Collaborate with the founders to understand product goals and translate them into infrastructure that supports seamless scaling.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing the application efficiently.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions, performance optimizations, and cost management strategies.
• Security: Set up and enforce best practices for infrastructure security and data protection.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure smooth integration of the infrastructure with the application.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a GCP DevOps Engineer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes (GKE), BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in Terraform or similar tools.
• CI/CD Mastery: Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• SQL/LLM Understanding: Familiarity with SQL and machine learning pipelines is a strong plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential challenges in scaling and propose effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with a remote team and non-technical stakeholders.
