Salesfire is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Back End Engineer to join our team as we continue to expand our SaaS platform. With a growing customer base and a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance, you will play a key role in shaping the systems that power over 5,000 eCommerce sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

With a growing customer base and a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance, you will play a key role in shaping the systems that power over 5,000 eCommerce sites. This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including:
- Mid-level
- Senior
- Lead
- Build new features into the Salesfire platform.
- Write server-side code, create robust high-volume production applications.
- Ensure the reliability of systems critical to Salesfire customers.
- Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. code reviews, writing clean and pragmatic code)
- Contribute to the back end coding standards.
- Proficient in Object Oriented PHP or other back-end languages.
- Experience with frameworks (we use Laravel and Lumen).
- Strong understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability.
- Experience with NodeJS is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the latest SaaS technologies.
- A strong understanding of, and practical experience with, web application development.
- A sincere commitment to crafting readable and reliable code.
