Responsibilities
- Debug and resolve production issues that occur under real user load
- Identify and address edge cases in the checkout and order processing flows
- Refactor existing code to improve maintainability and performance
- Collaborate closely on technical decisions and product direction
- Monitor and enhance system reliability and uptime
- Document changes and ensure best practices are followed throughout the codebase
- Proven experience in backend development for e-commerce or high-traffic web applications
- Strong proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing production systems
- Familiarity with checkout, order management, and payment processing flows
- Experience with code refactoring and improving legacy codebases
- Solid understanding of performance optimization and reliability best practices
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote, collaborative environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable code
- Availability for part-time, contract-based work
