About the role:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain sustainable data products and/or systems in end-to-end data operation process. Responsible for bringing in asset-level data on corporate’s private markets investments into the organization's platform environment, and ensuring the quality of the data provided.
- Create prototypes of data products based on user requirements to digitalize existing manual processes and collaborating with the technology group to systematize prototype created to the enterprise architecture.
- Ensure smooth execution of business-as-usual (BAU) processes through effective implementation of data products, providing technical support to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure data products meet user needs and expectations, and iterating on designs based on feedback to achieve optimal product-user fit.
- Adhere to Agile and DevOps practices in building data products by utilizing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring proper version control in code management.
- Develop comprehensive technical and user documentation for all data products developed, and ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible for users and developers.
- Provide continuous support and enhancements on the data product required, ensuring product uptime as per agreed SLA with the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders regarding data requirements and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of experience.
- Proficient in Python and SQL(both mandatory)
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of Pandas, with extensive hands-on usage
- Involved in both business analysis and development tasks using Python
- Possesses intermediate Python skills with relevant scripting experience
- Responsible for monitoring and executing Python applications
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Good engineering experience and practices in the following:
- Java/C# (.NET Core), and/or similar OOP frameworks
- Unix, Shell scripting
- Docker/Kubernetes/Github workflow, and/or other DevOps capabilities
- AWS services such as Glue/Batch, S3, SQS, SNS, EKS
- Federated query tools such as Denodo, Presto/Trino, Starburst
- UIUX frameworks such as React, Angular
