About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Software Engineer specializing in iOS development to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to develop and deliver high-quality, scalable iOS applications. The ideal candidate will embrace lean and agile methodologies, releasing shippable products frequently to meet evolving customer needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications that serve millions of drivers and vehicles worldwide, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience. Collaboration across teams and continuous innovation are key aspects of this role, requiring a proactive approach to evaluating new technologies and implementing best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in native iOS application development
  • Proficiency in Swift and comprehensive understanding of the iOS development ecosystem
  • Deep expertise in mobile frontend architecture, including modular design, state management, and navigation strategies
  • Strong software testing principles and experience working within agile environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale mobile applications for large user bases
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, transformative environments
  • Experience building and shipping production-grade software or services

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain iOS applications from conception through to production, supporting millions of users globally
  • Participate actively in reviewing and providing feedback on product designs and architectural decisions
  • Evaluate emerging products and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation for software engineering processes and applications
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and technical teams to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Implement robust testing strategies to ensure application stability and performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Address and resolve performance, security, and operational issues proactively
  • Support the deployment, support, and maintenance of applications post-launch
