We are seeking an experienced NOC / Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support a growing network infrastructure. The role combines network architecture responsibilities with Network Operations Center (NOC) activities to ensure continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and high availability of network services aligned with business objectives and SLAs.


Key Accountabilities and Activities

Network Design and Implementation

Design, configure, and deploy functional networks including LAN, WLAN, WAN, and NAC.

Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.

Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in coordination with the security team.

Conduct site visits for new network deployments.

Troubleshooting and Support

Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues.

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.

Conduct site visits for on-site support activities.

Monitoring and Optimization

Monitor network performance including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency.

Identify and test for performance weaknesses.

Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and successful implementation of network changes.

Perform Network Operations Center (NOC) activities to ensure continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network performance.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain complete and accurate technical documentation.

Provide detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and system logs.

Collaboration

Liaise with vendors and internal IT teams for issue resolution.

Collaborate with system engineers, software engineers, and IT support teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.


Qualifications and Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry.

At least 2 years of experience in network and security infrastructure environments with responsibilities in support and continuous improvement.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.

Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, MPLS, STP, VTP, packet flow, routing, and switching.

Hands-on experience with Cisco products including Routers, Switches, WLC, Access Points, ISE, and DNA Center.

Experience in troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment of network solutions.

Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools such as Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and Wireshark.

CCNA and CCNP certifications are mandatory. CCIE certification is an added advantage.
