Job Purpose:


Responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of the Bank’s application Portfolios and ensure IT are identified and implemented to increase effectiveness / efficiency of the Bank.


Main Tasks & Accountabilities:

  • Assist to Direct Application structure for the department in line with Bank strategy
  • Involve in the process for the development of application for the bank
  • Should be able to establish basic IT application structure an kept work procedures.
  • Assist Core banking solution upgrade from application perspective by understanding its capabilities and limitations
  • Design and drive customization and all integrations with the Core Banking System
  • Should make sure that all development / changes done towards the core banking are aligned with the Banks strategy
  • Coordinate with business unit to identify the new requirements in System as part of automation
  • Monitor all the application integrated to Core system and make sure the swift running
  • Involve in the feasibility analysis for any new application proposed
  • Involve in technical evaluation of bids relating to IT application
  • Should have Knowledge of applications and latest enhancements to support bank business users.
  • Propose / Suggest changes in IT Application Policies and Procedures
  • Carry out the regular application and system maintenance in order to ensure the availability of the core applications
  • Provide Business Support required for the IT applications by ensuring maximum availability and delivering within agreed SLA.
  • Should solve the issues reported from Core Banking application for smooth operation.
  • Supervise the Problem-Solving activities of application support staff.


Qualification:

  • Essential (E): Bachelor’s degree in information management or computer science or any related fields.
  • Desirable (D): Master’s degree in information management or computer science or any related fields.


Work Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years in Banking Domain experience
  • Experience in Oracle, J2EE/Power Builder, MS SQL, PL/SQL


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of banking and finance industry, Back Office Operations, Digital Channels, IT Operations.
  • Experience with a variety of commercial banking platforms: iMAL solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate with others. Influence and lead change initiatives.
  • Data analysis.
