Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing all operations within the assigned country, ensuring achievement of business objectives including profitability, revenue growth, cash flow, and quality targets. The role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic leadership, and operational excellence to deliver sustainable business performance while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance with corporate policies.
Your Tasks
- Lead and oversee all business operations, administration, and financial performance within the country to ensure alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Take full accountability for profit and loss (P&L), revenue, cash flow, and quality performance targets.
- Develop, propose, and implement the annual business plan and budget, including setting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for growth and profitability.
- Monitor business performance and prepare regular performance reports and forecasts for regional management.
- Drive sales growth, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer retention across all business units.
- Represent the organization in meetings, forums, and events with clients, partners, regulators, and other stakeholders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the country team, including recruitment, performance management, capability development, and succession planning.
- Ensure operational excellence, compliance with TÜV SÜD’s standards, and adherence to local laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Foster effective collaboration between business units, clients, vendors, and government bodies to strengthen business relationships and drive growth initiatives.
- Promote a culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the country organization.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) in Business Management or Marketing is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business operations and management, including experience with multinational organizations.
- Demonstrated success in leading a business or large-scale operations, with strong understanding of financial management, sales, and business development.
- In-depth knowledge of the TIC industry, with proven ability to translate strategic goals into operational results.
