Our project is connected to a leading multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure access provider. We believe security should help people get their jobs done rather than stand in their way, enabling customers to configure policies that adjust access levels based on user and device context while minimizing friction and maintaining strong protection against attacks.

The project’s policy engine is at the core of these access decisions. To support this mission, we are forming a new team to build the next generation of policy solutions for our customers.

IF YOU ARE

  • Proficient in Python with at least 1.5 years of commercial experience
  • Experienced with one of the following frameworks: Django, Flask, or FastAPI
  • Familiar with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices
  • Knowledgeable of AWS services such as Route53, CloudFormation, EC2, Certificate Manager, and S3
  • Well-versed in NoSQL databases, including Redis and MongoDB
  • Experienced in containerization using Docker
  • Skilled in designing and implementing REST APIs
  • Aware of deployment strategies and cloud-based deployment approaches
  • Confident in working with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Knowledgeable of basic networking concepts and DNS
  • Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client side
  • Familiar with cybersecurity principles and best practices as applied to backend development
  • Skilled in identity and access management concepts such as SSO, 2FA, MFA, LDAP, SCIM, and Active Directory (as an advantage)
  • Aware of Go, Wireshark, and Twisted (not a must)

  • Extend project service solutions into customer environments and primary identity stores
  • Apply software craftsmanship practices through testing, continuous integration, build automation, and mentorship
  • Prioritize team success and collaborate closely to achieve sprint goals
  • Learn continuously and contribute to the team in a meaningful way
  • Work with tools supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle
  • Enhance monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application availability and performance
  • Leverage AWS services for log processing and data analysis to identify bottlenecks and improve the performance and reliability of web applications
