This role will be responsible for the strategic direction of our commercial portfolio within the Australian market, ensuring that we deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.
As the Head of Commercial, you will be instrumental in driving growth and market penetration, leveraging your commercial expertise. You will collaborate closely with various team members, stakeholders, and partners to develop tailored strategies that align with the overall ANZ and JAPAC Commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement the commercial strategy for the Australian market, aligning with the ANZ and JAPAC Commercial strategy
- Drive revenue growth by identifying market opportunities, building relationships and establishing partnerships with stakeholders
- Lead and inspire the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and customer focus
- Develop sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets, ensuring corrective actions are taken as necessary to meet organisational objectives
- Oversee the marketing efforts for existing and new products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage key customer accounts and partnerships, ensuring exceptional service and support to clients
- Provide insights and feedback on market dynamics, competition, and customer needs to inform product development and strategy
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on objectives, operational excellence, and efficient communication
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years demonstrated leadership experience in a pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management / contract negotiations
- Extensive experience in forecasting, budget management
- Experience in Financial management, including P&L
- Demonstrated experience in delivering growth targets over multiple years
- Demonstrated experience in building and leading high performing teams to success
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally; holding a current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work and live in Australia
