Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll manage and optimize IT networks and services, ensure the availability of systems and support the smooth migration of IT infrastructure while contributing to the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring uninterrupted availability of the IT infrastructure:

• Day-to-day monitoring and managing of the IT Network Systems and Services and providing support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensuring that the IT Network Systems and services continue to meet business needs and comply with GMP requirements as well as corporate guidelines for IT- and OT-security.
• Cooperating with, and coordinating the activities of Managed Service IT Partners and Global IT Teams.
• Ensuring uninterrupted availability of GMP legacy systems and contributing to a quick migration to the new IT Infrastructure as carried out by the OT-group.

IT Governance and Continuous Improvement:

• Developing and supporting IT solutions that meet business needs while adhering to both global and local IT- and OT-Governance standards.
• Compiling roadmaps and year plans for maintenance, upgrading, and innovation activities.
• Contributing to Digitalization and Continuous Improvement initiatives both within IT and other parts of the organization to focus on tasks with added value and reduce bureaucracy.
• Enabling the OT-group to set up their Protected Networks as per industry standards and fostering collaboration between IT- and OT-professionals.

Project Participation and Collaboration:

• Planning and delivering local IT projects, and as such:
• Managing the project from start to finish with the relevant stakeholders, communicating through meetings and documents as needed, and escalating issues in a timely manner to Management and stakeholders.
• Generating and maintaining the project documentation as required, such as project (execution) plan, scheduling documents, budget overviews, resource planning, user requirement specifications based on client department information, equipment and/or component specifications.
• Working with Procurement and Finance to contact and follow-up with suppliers.
• Working with client departments as needed to plan and execute training and handover.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunication or similar.
• Proven experience in an IT environment, ideally with knowledge of IT and OT security.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• A precise, systematic, and goal-oriented approach, paired with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP 4.0 is an advantage.
