We’re now looking for an AI & Data Consultant to join our Applied AI team in Espoo. In this role, you will work across AI strategy and implementation, helping organizations identify and prioritize AI and analytics opportunities and turn them into clear plans, solution designs, and roadmaps.
Alongside strategy work, you will support and lead AI and data initiatives in practice. You will work closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions are built, deployed, and adopted in a way that fits the client’s business and operating model. You will also take part in customer discussions from early advisory phases onward, acting as a trusted partner who can connect business needs with AI capabilities. You will work in an international environment with colleagues and client projects across Finland, Sweden, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United States.
🧩 What You Will Work On
- Conduct structured AI strategy and analytics opportunity assessments, including stakeholder interviews, AI maturity and readiness analysis, business case development, and technical and organizational feasibility evaluation
- Design end-to-end AI and data solution concepts, defining problem statements, value propositions, prioritized use cases, success metrics, and functional, architectural, and governance requirements in close collaboration with data science and engineering teams
- Develop pragmatic AI roadmaps and enablement plans, outlining capabilities, operating models, data foundations, change management actions, and scaling paths for sustainable AI adoption
- Lead and support AI and data implementation initiatives, overseeing execution, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with business and AI strategy objectives
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, translating strategic goals into actionable AI solution requirements throughout design and implementation
- Support AI-focused pre-sales and advisory engagements, articulating the business value of AI solutions and contributing to proposal development
- Work in an international environment with teams and projects across Finland, Sweden, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United States.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, designers, and client teams to ensure smooth delivery, effective AI enablement, and knowledge transfer
- People-first culture: A workplace where you can be yourself. Our culture is built on openness, equality, and mutual respect.
- Flexible working model: Our hybrid model offers the best of both worlds, flexibility in your daily life and in-person collaboration when it moves things forward
- Well-being benefits: Smartum benefits for culture, sports, and optional regular massages to help you recharge
- Fair compensation: A competitive salary that reflects your skills and experience
- Grow with us: We encourage continuous learning and development in a direction that matters to you. We offer diverse training and certification opportunities, and active guild communities where knowledge is shared and built together
- Several years of experience in consulting or advisory roles related to AI, analytics, data transformation, or internal innovation initiatives
- Experience supporting or leading the implementation of AI, data, or software initiatives in collaboration with technical delivery teams
- Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, support pre-sales discussions, and contribute to business development
- Solid understanding of modern data platforms and AI technologies — deep hands-on expertise is not required, but strong conceptual and architectural understanding is essential
- Familiarity with the Microsoft cloud ecosystem
- Ability to drive progress in complex and ambiguous environments, balancing strategic thinking with pragmatic execution and value realization
- Practical experience with Agile delivery methods, especially in AI- and data-driven projects
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, written, verbal, and visual
- Fluent English and Finnish skills
- Bonus: experience working with large, industrial, or enterprise organizations
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerisation for reproducible, scalable environments (e.g. Terraform, Docker)
- Familiarity with PyTorch, LangChain/LlamaIndex, deep learning, and LLM evaluation frameworks
- Experience working with data platforms and architectures (e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, event streams, data warehouses)
- Some background in structured testing methodologies to ensure solution reliability
- Experience working with teams or as a consultant, with an ability to support and learn from others
