Company:

Our client is a global leader in agricultural innovation, operating a network of over 30 facilities and supporting commercial activities over 40 countries. The UK-based team plays a key role in driving international projects and supporting operations across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, contributing to a €900 million annual revenue stream.

Opportunity:

As Business Data & Operational Analyst, you will support operational and commercial teams by delivering structured data analysis, performance reporting, and actionable insights across international operations. The role is designed to strengthen business visibility, improve decision-making, and support continuous improvement across farming, production, and supply-chain activities. The role is based in Dublin and works closely with UK-based and international teams, supporting ongoing operational performance and business planning across multiple regions. It is a hands-on analytical role with real exposure to how the business operates day to day, rather than a purely theoretical or reporting-focused position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, structure, and analyse operational and business data across multiple regions and functions.
  • Work with multiple internal systems and operational data sources, validating, reconciling, and improving data quality where required.
  • Develop and maintain regular performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs for operational teams.
  • Support regular operational performance reviews and reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, and seasonal), ensuring consistent data definitions and outputs.
  • Support operational planning through trend analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modelling.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support productivity, efficiency, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Work closely with operational, finance, and commercial teams to ensure data outputs meet business needs.
  • Support standardisation and improvement of data accuracy and reporting processes.
  • Assist with the development of forecasting and planning tools.
  • Identify performance gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Present findings and insights to senior operational and commercial stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure consistency of data definitions and reporting across systems and regions.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable data and reporting frameworks as the business grows.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a data, business analysis, or operational analytics role.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
  • Experience working in an operational, production, supply-chain, or FMCG environment preferred.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Experience with BI or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support international teams.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment where priorities, timelines, and data inputs may evolve.
  • Experience working with imperfect or evolving datasets in an operational business environment is highly advantageous.

Remuneration:

Salary for this role is in the range of €65,000– €75,000 per year. Additional benefits include pension contributions, health insurance, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive, family-oriented culture that values work-life balance.
