Experienced Kotlin Backend Developer to join an Agile Scrum team delivering business-critical and strategic delivery applications. The role requires strong backend engineering skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to work in a DevOps-driven environment, including participation in 24/7 standby support.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a core member of an Agile Scrum team (2-week sprints), participating in stand-ups, planning, refinement, and retrospectives
• Design and build reliable backend solutions for mission-critical systems
• Take ownership of team codebases in a DevOps way of working, including deployments and support
• Analyse, design, and implement application and data architecture solutions
• Enforce code quality standards, best practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and maintain applications supporting core business delivery processes

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong Kotlin experience (minimum 2 years, 4+ years preferred) – mandatory
• Solid experience with Core Java
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices in Azure Cloud environments
