Senior Linux Engineer
Join a leading digital organization that’s scaling its infrastructure through automation, innovation, and cloud technology. As a Senior Linux Engineer, you’ll take ownership of mission-critical systems, improve platform reliability, and help shape a modern, automated infrastructure landscape.
What you’ll do
- Manage, optimize, and automate Linux/Unix systems and services.
- Lead lifecycle management of systems, software, and infrastructure delivery.
- Design and implement automation using Puppet, CI/CD, and Git.
- Support internal teams with reliable infrastructure and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to enhance performance and security.
What you bring
✅ 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a Linux administrator or engineer
✅ Deep knowledge of Debian, Red Hat, or derivatives
✅ Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go)
✅ Experience with Puppet, CI/CD, and configuration management
✅ Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Elastic Stack
✅ Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
✅ Solid grasp of networking and security protocols (Kerberos, LDAP, Radius)
💡 Bonus: Experience with AWS, Azure, or SAN storage platforms
Fluent English is required; Dutch is a plus. Candidates must already live in the Netherlands.
