Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our security posture and ensure compliance with stringent financial regulations. This role is critical in safeguarding sensitive data, mitigating cyber risks, and supporting the organisation’s resilience against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Implement and maintain security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and regular security audits; develop remediation plans.
- Prepare and maintain security documentation, dashboards, and incident reports for internal and regulatory purposes.
- Develop and execute incident response and disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and standards (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, FINMA guidelines, Cyber Resilience Act).
- Deliver security awareness training and guidance across business units.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain robust security controls and manage third-party risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity within financial services or regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
- Swiss/EU/EFTA work authorisation required.
