Key Responsibilities

Contribute to application modernization through technical design, development, and technology selection. Help define and enforce software quality standards
Research and support the adoption of new-generation technologies. Participate in customer application development and technical design processes
Develop secure, high-volume online and batch systems
Deliver assigned projects with high quality across the software lifecycle
Ensure smooth and reliable operation of applications in production
Own platform performance end-to-end, including availability, monitoring, and reporting.

Required Skills And Experience

5+ years of experience in PHP development (preferably Laravel and Symfony) and modern backend architecture practices.
Strong full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI development (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular) and/or server-side JS
Willing to work from the office when necessary (hybrid-flexible).
Experience or familiarity with large-scale multi-tenant applications.
Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL/MySQL and ElasticSearch, and familiarity with a NoSQL option such as MongoDB.
Proficiency in RabbitMQ and Redis.
Experience with source control systems such as GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket or similar tools.
Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing methodologies (e.g., PHPUnit/Pest, Jest/Cypress).
Experience in developing and maintaining applications in the financial services sector (e.g., banking, payments, fintech), with a strong understanding of security, compliance, and high-availability requirements.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the entire software development lifecycle.
