Job Description

We're hiring for a long-term project in the financial technology domain. The role involves maintaining and evolving existing operational systems while contributing to the design of a modern, cloud-native architecture. You'll collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to ensure data integrity, automate processes, and help shape the next generation of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend existing applications and automations written in Python, SQL, and VBA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across data pipelines and business tools.
• Collaborate with teams across functions (Finance, Technology, Operations) to improve efficiency.
• Refactor legacy code into maintainable Python-based services.
• Support the migration of data and processes into cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Write clean, well-documented, and tested code following best practices.
  
  

Profile / Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Practical knowledge of VBA in Excel (automation, debugging).
• Experience maintaining and improving existing systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, international environment.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or modern data tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark).
• Exposure to financial or operational data.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and GitHub.
