Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to define data requirements
- Develop and optimize queries and data pipelines for performance and reliability
- Validate data accuracy and ensure data quality across systems
- Translate business questions into analytical problems and present results in a clear, actionable manner
- Support data-driven decision making through ad hoc analysis and ongoing reporting
- Contribute to best practices for data governance, documentation, and analytics workflows
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytics role
- Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
- Experience working with SQL-based data warehouses (including Hive)
- Solid understanding of statistics and analytical methodologies
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with JavaScript (e.g., for dashboards or data visualization)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized data workloads
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of big data tools and distributed systems
- Experience in building or supporting production analytics pipelines
