Role: EIS – Network Engineer
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Hiring Mode: Contract
Experience: 6–8 years
Required Skills: Network Routing (WAN Technology)
Pay: CAD 50-55/Hr.
- Hands-on experience with routing and switching network standards and technologies.
- Wide range of successfully deployed network services and applications.
- Strong experience in implementing complex projects with attention to detail.
- Creative problem solver with a high degree of initiative.
- Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols: VTP, STP, EIGRP, OSPF.
- Strong analytical skills to examine data and provide efficient solutions.
- Implementing security policies using ACL, Firewall, IPSEC, SSL, VPN, IPS/IDS, AAA (TACACS, RADIUS).
Cisco Hardware Experience:
- Routers: 2600, 2800, 2900, 3600, 3700, 3800, 7000
- Branch Switches: C2900, 3500, 3750(X), 4000, 4500, 5500, 6500
- Data Center Switches: Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, 2K (Fabric Extender), Virtual Switch 1K
- Servers: UCS C and B Series
- Wireless Controllers: 2504, 5508, 8510 Series
- Access Points: 1042, 1100, 1200, 3500, 3600 Series
- IP Phones: 6900, 7900 (including wireless), 8900, SPA Series, and soft clients such as Jabber, Cisco Mobile, WebEx
Other Technologies:
- F5 Load Balancer (LTM and GTM)
- Fortinet: FortiGate Firewall (3700D, 800C)
