As a Data Analyst, you’ll turn raw data into actionable insights that inform decisions across creative, UX, marketing, and product teams. You’ll analyze user behavior, performance metrics, and business trends to guide strategy and optimize outcomes. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Previous experience in Canadian automotive or OEM digital projects is highly desirable.
What You’ll Do
- Develop measurement and learning frameworks to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement
- Deliver analytics-driven insights that inform proactive strategy across marketing, product, and experience
- Collect, transform, and manage data from multiple sources to produce reliable, actionable datasets
- Lead reporting, dashboarding, and visualization efforts, from operational scorecards to executive summaries
- Analyze campaign, product, and user-experience data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Partner with creative, UX, product, and account teams to translate insights into strategy and design decisions
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI and visualization tools
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses (e.g., segmentation, testing, funnels, cohorts) to support optimization
- Ensure data integrity through strong governance, validation, documentation, and privacy practices
- Manage priorities, timelines, and stakeholder communication; present insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Stay current on analytics tools and recommend improvements to data infrastructure and processes
- 5+ years of experience working as a data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or similar role — ideally within an agency, marketing, or product-focused environment
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis (SQL, spreadsheets, Python or R preferred)
- Experience with data visualization tools or libraries (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, matplotlib/seaborn)
- Comfortable working with multiple data sources, integrating disparate data, and ensuring data quality
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to detect patterns and anomalies
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for creative and business teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven agency environment
- Familiarity with basic statistical concepts (A/B testing, significance, regression)
- Experience with marketing attribution models, customer segmentation, lifetime value (LTV) analysis, or predictive analytics
- Background in UX analytics, user-behavior tracking, or product analytics
- Familiarity with privacy regulations, data governance, and ethical data handling
- Experience with automation, ETL pipelines, or data-engineering workflows
- Comfort working in cross-disciplinary teams, supporting both creative and technical stakeholders
