Responsibilities

Head of CIG (Country IT Governance and IT Operation) is responsible for managing the CIG organization and leading the following activities for Asia Pacific countries:

  • Provide strong and adequate support for Regional CIO to govern and lead APAC countries IT
  • Oversight country IT services to ensure country to manage their IT services properly, including incident management / release management / day to day operations / projects and maintenance work
  • Setup annual KPI for country and track its progress through monthly performance forums / quarterly check / half yearly evaluation
  • Help for country to create and maintain IT strategy roadmap
  • Conduct end to end country capability assessment to identify the weakness and issues in the country. And provide remediation action and follow up
  • Runs IT operation meeting and performance forum regularly within APAC region, includes committee, council, forum and meeting
  • Gather the information proactively from countries, and summarize / analyze / create report for regional CIO update
  • Critical Project monitoring: track the status of critical project when the project status changed to Amber. Identify the issues, and implement corrective actions with country as needed
  • Stakeholder communication: regularly communicate with stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and team members, to provide updates on portfolio status and progress
  • Incident management: Build and maintain incident management framework and playbook, work with APCF P&C and HO IT. Incident manager to lead solving the incident and report/communicate with stakeholders, Internal/external comm with region, HO and countries


Requirements

  • Bahelors or Master’s degree in Technology.
  • 20+ relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
  • Proven experience on country coordination, preferably in a multinational organization
  • Experience in a consultancy firm would be beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate dynamic and challenging situations
