Job Description
The SDaaS Services team currently uses technologies such as: Linux, gitlab (SCM, CI), Python, Terraform, ansible, Podman, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI, various Governance Scanning tools (the technologies are subject to change). The candidate will work towards the enhancements, regular upgrade activities of the various services and will work with senior members to support the CFS workflow and GIU SaaS/Application deploy into CFS – Platform including migration of GIU development teams to new SCM (GitLab/GIU SCS), runner farms, and CI/CD services.
As a DevOps Engineer(1) in SDaaS team, you will be involved significantly in taking on several new initiatives to enhance and scale our applications and to model, develop, support CI/CD tools and workflows in a complex distributed environment. You should be a distributed systems generalist and should be able to work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of Cloud-Based software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.
Responsibilities:
Will Build automation, integration and continuously delivered software.
Will implement modern configuration management practices.
Will Manage workflows for multiple projects and partners.
Will Develop/enhance automation for integration across various DevOps tools.
Will Enhance the automated CI / CD with new automation.
Will Implement DR and HA support for SDaaS Services
Will involve in Troubleshoot and solve complex application, workflow and tools problems.
Key requirements:
Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX, Python, Shell scripting, Java Scripting.
DevOps toolchain experience: GIT, Jenkins, Scans (code & artifacts), Monitoring, Artifactory, JIRA etc
Strong understanding and practice Agile/Lean projects SCRUM, KANBAN etc
