Role Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and disciplined Crypto Quant Researcher to join our core Market Intelligence team. This role is central to our trading and research efforts and involves deep market analysis, quantitative strategy development, and validation of AI-driven trading signals using real-world market expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct in-depth fundamental and technical research on digital assets, macroeconomic trends, and on-chain metrics
• Publish daily and weekly research reports covering market dynamics, volatility, and emerging opportunities

Strategy Development & Optimization

• Contribute to the quantitative research codebase using Python and related tools
• Design, backtest, and refine quantitative trading strategies across spot, futures, and arbitrage markets
• Monitor live strategy performance, optimize risk-reward, and maximize alpha
• Collaborate closely with data science teams to translate trading logic into model enhancements

AI & Signal Validation

• Act as a human-in-the-loop reviewer for AI-generated trading signals (TradingView and proprietary platforms)
• Add qualitative context to quantitative outputs to ensure timely and actionable insights

Performance & Risk Analytics

• Track and analyse key metrics such as PnL, drawdowns, and Sharpe ratios
• Maintain detailed trade logs and perform post-trade analysis for continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cryptocurrency trading and analysis
• Strong expertise in spot, futures, and arbitrage strategies
• Advanced proficiency in TradingView, including indicators, chart patterns, and technical analysis
• Proven experience in strategy design, backtesting, and disciplined risk management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into insights
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis or strategy automation
• Excellent communication skills to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with Web3, DeFi protocols, and on-chain analytics tools (Nansen, Dune Analytics, etc.)
• Experience in research, trade desk support, or community-facing roles
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative fields
