.NET Support (Application / IT Support)
- Location: Vienna, Austria (100% onsite)
- Contract type: B2b / Independent contractor
- Rate: 275 – 295 USD / day
- Duration: Long-term contract (Backfilling)
The consultant will provide 1st and 2nd level application and IT support for internally developed and highly integrated Internally developed enterprise applications, working closely with product management and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for Internally developed enterprise applications
- Take ownership of support requests and ensure timely resolution
- Escalate complex issues to 3rd level support when required
- Manage, prioritize, track, and follow up on support tickets
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to identify root causes
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and how-to guides
- Establish and maintain a knowledge management system
- Monitor KPIs related to support quality and resolution times
- Provide feedback to QA and development teams based on user issues
- Update testing documentation and contribute to regression testing processes
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years in a client-facing IT / application support role
- Strong technical background in: Microsoft .NET / C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server administration, Microsoft Azure, Atlassian JIRA
- Experience working in agile environments
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps / TFS (desirable)
- Certifications: ITIL v4, ISTQB-FL (Prince2 is a plus)
- Language: Fluent English required; French is a strong plus
