Product Designer - AI Start Up - Paris (Hybrid) - Equity Options

Our client is an AI safety startup developing the safety, reliability, and optimization layer for advanced AI systems. At the core of the platform is a natural-language policy engine—clear rules that define what an AI model should and shouldn’t do. These policies are automatically tested, enforced, and continuously improved at scale.

The company has raised $11M from leading funds as well as founders and senior leaders across top AI labs and tech companies. Its systems handle hundreds of millions of API calls every month, and the team trains and fine-tunes its own LLMs to run faster and more efficiently than both open-source and proprietary alternatives.

What You’ll Do

• Evolve and maintain the Figma design system to keep it consistent, scalable, and easy to extend.
• Update existing screens and design new flows for upcoming features.
• Collaborate directly with product, engineering, and research teams — fast iterations and full ownership.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience working in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping, Design Systems).
• Experience designing clear, functional web interfaces — ideally for technical or complex products.
• Ability to create basic animations with the tools of your choice.
• Regularly incorporate AI tools into your design workflow.
