Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Process Development) to lead new product introduction and lifecycle management projects for drug product and finished drug product manufacturing. This role sits within a portfolio delivery function and works closely with site and global stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will bring strong pharmaceutical or biotech project management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of process development projects, including new product introductions and lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with cGMP, safety, quality, and financial governance requirements.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues; maintain appropriate project documentation and change controls.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional, site, and global teams to drive timely and effective project execution.
  • Promote continuous improvement and accountability across projects, ensuring sustainable and compliant outcomes.


Key Requirements:

  • Degree in a technical or scientific discipline; Master’s preferred, with 5–8 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences, including at least 3 years in project management.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and motivating cross-functional and global teams.
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and drive consensus.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, quality standards, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing or process development environment.
  • Experience with portfolio management, resource planning, business case development, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma).
