Job Description: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location: Warsaw (with travel as required)
Position Summary:
The COO will oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment and efficiency across all teams, with a strong focus on administrative functions and HR. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to optimize processes, manage resources, and drive performance. The COO will also work closely with the HR department to ensure effective talent management and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments for optimal efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with the executive team to implement strategic business initiatives that align with company goals.
- Lead resource allocation to ensure departments and projects receive adequate support, with a focus on process optimization and cost reduction.
- Oversee the monitoring of operating expenses, driving budget adherence and financial efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiation and management to safeguard company interests and secure favorable terms.
- Ensure company policies and strategies are communicated and implemented effectively across all departments.
- Partner with HR to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development strategies.
- Oversee the alignment of HR policies with operational needs, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement and retention through HR-led initiatives.
- Report regularly to the CEO on operational performance, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in both operations and human resources.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a COO or in a senior administrative or operational role with oversight of HR functions.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of managing complex operations and teams.
- Expertise in operational management, resource allocation, and process improvement.
- Fluent in Russian and English (both written and spoken).
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on driving performance improvements.
- Experience collaborating with HR to align operational and talent strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to workforce management.
