Project Description:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who has a strong technical background, experience as a cloud expert, experience in running Agile Scrum Teams service or product organization, coordination, managing a team and who is comfortable working with Senior Stakeholders, Product Management.

Experience with cloud architecture is mandatory as well

We are a top-tier Market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration for Trading Systems.

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, commodities.

Whether you possess a background in finance, technology, or Mathematics, your experience in the capital markets industry or commodities industry would be of high interest to us.

The project is a Trading and Position platform Implementation for Commodity products.

You will be part of a Top Initiative for this commodity client. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on several type of commodity products.

You will act as a Senior Tech Lead and Team Lead.

You will be leading a team responsible for the build of a centralized data layer to distribute data to a trading platform, a credit risk application, a market risk application and other systems

• Defining on a common data model for this new data lake on Azure Cloud

• Transformation of data, calculation for pricing and risk

• Building multiples interfaces to deliver data either on demand, or real time.

• Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business

• Integration with Operations, Finance

• Reporting, Reconciliation

• Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a Data Lake Architect, to define a common data model for a centralized data layer

• Managing a team of 8 resources to build all the necessary interfaces, data model on the Azure cloud.

• Being able to be hands-on reviewing code and advising on best practices

• Driving continuous development, continuous improvements and innovation

• Managing risks and escalating impediments, while also acting as a full time Project Manager and Scrum master for a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Ensuring consistency in predictability, quality and methodology

• Management reporting across delivery functions

• Being the point of escalation for delivery issues

• Maintaining positive employee and team experiences, teaching teams and scrum masters about the combination of Lean and Agile management practices and ideologies

• Creating and communicating the annual calendars for iterations and PIs; facilitating PI planning and readiness; summarizing and publishing PI objectives

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Strong Technical background as developer, ideally with 10+ years of professional IT delivery within Managed Services, IT outsourcing industry, Consultancy Experience, System Migration/Integration, Cloud implementation.

• Azure or AWS experience

• Experience in investment banking industry or commodity trading

• Hands-on experience with Agile SAFe practices is a significant plus

• Hands-on experience in backlog refinement and PI planning or similar to that

• Experience in leading and coaching cross-functional teams

• Expert understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, processes, practices and tools
