Job Description
The Corporate Strategy Office (CSO) works closely with the Divisions, Corporate Functions and Units to define and drive the group-wide strategy, lead and/or coordinate high priority initiatives, execute mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and establish the Group Project Management Office (PMO).
Shape and Execute Strategic Direction:
- Drive the development and implementation of the Division and Businesses’ global strategy by leading advanced market, customer, and competitor analyses.
- Transform complex datasets into actionable recommendations that inform long-term strategic, operational, and sustainability priorities.
- Identify, structure, and lead or support (depending on scope) high-impact strategic projects including geographic expansion, cost transformation ensuring alignment with divisional goals and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop and enhance forward-looking market intelligence frameworks to uncover new growth opportunities and anticipate shifts in the industry and division. Leverage global data sources to support strategic decision-making and investment prioritization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, preparing impactful executive communications and board-level presentations. Distill complex strategies into clear, compelling narratives that influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the Global Head M&A in our end-to-end process from opportunity identification and strategic fit evaluation to deal execution and post-merger integration, exercising sound strategic judgment and autonomy.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree
- Minimum 5 years in corporate development, strategy execution, or top tier management consulting. Exposure to Industrial/technology sectors is a plus.

- Thorough understanding of corporate strategy and execution frameworks and principles of strategic planning, portfolio management, and governance processes at group level.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- High integrity, independence, and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in project management tools, data analytics, and reporting technologies.
- Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and navigate cultural diversity across global operations.
- In depth experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other business applications.
- Fluent in English; additional language(s) (e.g., German or French) are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%)
