Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled IT Operations Personnel to support Ceffu’s technology infrastructure and application ecosystem in Turkey. This role encompasses system administration, software development, quality control/testing, and database management, making it integral to the day-to-day reliability and security of our platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform system administration tasks, including server configuration, network management, and routine maintenance.
  • Support software development activities, working alongside global engineering teams on backend and infrastructure codebases.
  • Implement and maintain testing and quality control processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and test automation pipelines.
  • Manage and maintain databases, ensuring performance, security, and availability in line with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor system performance and uptime, responding quickly to incidents and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Ensure all IT operations comply with Turkish regulations related to crypto asset platforms, data protection, and security.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and changes to ensure audit readiness and team collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with Information Security and Compliance to maintain robust risk and access controls.
  • Perform on-site inspection and maintenance of data center equipment to ensure stable server and network operation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Huawei and Cisco switches and routers.
  • Conduct regular hardware inspections of servers, monitoring CPU, memory, and disk performance.
  • Diagnose hardware issues and coordinate vendor support for repairs when necessary.
  • Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to assist in network testing and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain data center security — including access control, power systems, UPS, and environmental monitoring.
  • Write basic Shell scripts to automate inspection and system checks.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or infrastructure management in a fintech, exchange, or regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration, shell scripting, and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Exposure to modern software development practices and testing frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail, with solid documentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both Turkish and English Turkish; proficiency in English is required for collaboration with global teams.
  • Experience configuring Huawei / Cisco routers and switches.
  • Good understanding of server hardware architecture and ability to identify hardware faults.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently on-site.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a crypto exchange, custody provider, or regulated financial institution.
  • Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure or node management is a plus.
  • Certifications in system administration, cloud, or DevOps tools are advantageous (e.g., RHCSA, AWS Certified SysOps Admin, etc.).
