About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity delivery, business continuity management, and secure server and client environments. The role will lead the end-to-end delivery of security and infrastructure initiatives, supporting the modernisation of enterprise IT environments, strengthening cyber resilience, and ensuring operational continuity across critical systems.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience delivering complex IT and security projects, coordinating across infrastructure, security, and business teams, and driving initiatives from design through to operational handover in regulated and business-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of cybersecurity, continuity, and secure infrastructure projects, including scope definition, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and risk management.
- Manage initiatives related to secure server and endpoint environments, including hardening, patching, endpoint protection, and configuration standards.
- Coordinate delivery of business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational resilience objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise security architecture, policies, and standards.
- Oversee integrations and dependencies across identity, endpoint security, server platforms, cloud services, and core enterprise systems.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across IT, security, risk, compliance, and business functions, ensuring clear communication on progress, risks, and decision points.
- Establish and manage testing strategies (system testing, resilience testing, UAT) to ensure solutions meet security, availability, and performance requirements.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, operational procedures, and handover to BAU teams are completed to support sustainable operations.
- Actively manage third-party vendors and delivery partners, ensuring quality, timelines, and contractual commitments are met.
- Lead project closure activities, including benefits validation, lessons learned, and executive reporting.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience delivering IT projects with a strong focus on cybersecurity, infrastructure, or resilience.
- Solid understanding of secure server and client management, including endpoint protection, patching, hardening, and configuration management.
- Experience delivering or supporting business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and control frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes across technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Comfortable working in regulated, enterprise, or critical-infrastructure environments.
- Strong planning, documentation, and governance skills, with the ability to drive delivery in both agile and hybrid environments.
- Relevant certifications such as SAFe,PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 22301/27001 are desirable but not mandatory.
Contracting Details
- Contract role with competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
