Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and commercially driven Accessories Designer – Private Label to design and develop seasonal collections across accessories (with exposure to apparel). This role plays a key part in translating trends into market-relevant products while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver collections on time and in line with brand direction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop seasonal accessories collections in line with the assigned category and seasonal design plan.
  • Build seasonal mood boards in collaboration with the Design Manager.
  • Develop seasonal color palettes and coordinate lab dip submissions with suppliers.
  • Create sketches and design layouts with strong commercial appeal and regional relevance.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to validate design direction and pricing architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, Quality, and Suppliers to ensure aligned execution from concept to final sample.
  • Deliver designs, graphics, and tech packs in line with collection timelines.
  • Support graphic development and technical packs where required, with support from the Assistant Designer.
  • Participate in the full product development cycle—from concept ideation to final sample approval.


Technical Skills & Design Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience in developing detailed tech packs for accessories and apparel.
  • Practical understanding of construction, measurements, and basic pattern-making.
  • Familiarity with fabric application, trims, lab dips, and color palette development.
  • Exposure to 3D design tools and/or AI-driven design platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of design forecasting tools and methodologies.

  • Ability to interpret fashion and lifestyle trends and translate them into commercially viable designs.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail while balancing creativity with practicality.
  • Clear communication and coordination across PD, Quality, and Supplier teams.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional environments.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of overall design experience.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in apparel design and 1 year of accessories design experience.
  • Experience working with a retailer or brand focused on lifestyle or outdoor categories.
  • Hands-on involvement across the complete product development cycle.
  • Adobe Certified Professional – Illustrator and/or Photoshop (preferred).
