Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Core Team Member to own and manage the end-to-end SuccessFactors suite for our organization of approximately 4,000 employees. The role will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for SuccessFactors, ensuring system stability, smooth operations, and effective coordination between HR stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- SuccessFactors Application Ownership
- Own and manage the complete SAP SuccessFactors suite (e.g., EC, ECP, RCM, ONB, PMGM, LMS, Compensation, etc., as applicable).
- Ensure system availability, data integrity, and stable performance across all modules.
- Manage quarterly release updates, assess business impact, and coordinate testing and adoption.
- Vendor Coordination & Issue Management
- Act as the primary liaison with the implementation/support vendor.
- Log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents, defects, and enhancement requests.
- Ensure SLAs are met and escalate critical issues when required.
- Review vendor deliverables and validate solutions before production deployment.
- HR & Business Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Talent, and business users to understand requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional system changes or enhancements.
- Provide functional guidance and best practices to HR users.
- Support HR during critical business cycles (payroll, performance, hiring peaks).
- Change, Release & Configuration Management
- Manage configuration changes, business rules, workflows, MDF objects, and security roles.
- Coordinate UAT with HR and business teams.
- Maintain transport discipline across environments (Dev / Test / Prod).
- Ensure documentation is updated for all changes.
- User Support & Training
- Act as L2/L3 support for SuccessFactors-related issues.
- Guide HR operations and super users on system usage and troubleshooting.
- Support end-user training, FAQs, and knowledge base creation.
- Compliance, Security & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and data privacy requirements.
- Monitor role-based permissions and data access.
- Support audit, reporting, and data extraction requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (mandatory).
- Experience in other modules such as RCM, ONB, PMGM, LMS, Compensation, or ECP is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of:
- Business Rules & Workflows
- MDF Framework
- Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
- Integration monitoring (SF APIs / middleware awareness)
- Experience managing SuccessFactors releases and regression testing.
- Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate across HR, IT, vendors, and business users.
- Structured problem-solving and incident management mindset.
- Ability to work independently as a system owner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or related field.
- SAP SuccessFactors certification(s) preferred.
- Experience supporting mid-to-large employee populations (1,000+).
