We Are Seeking: On-Chain Researcher

This role focuses on turning crypto and blockchain data into actionable insights that inform trading and investment decisions. You’ll monitor ecosystem behavior, analyze capital flows, and systematize intelligence across strategies. Working closely with traders, developers, and researchers, you’ll design frameworks, detect emerging trends, and build tools that give the firm a competitive edge.

Ideal candidates combine strong programming and analytical skills with a deep understanding of crypto market structure and liquidity dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze blockchain activity to identify market-moving flows
• Build dashboards tracking wallets, liquidity pools, and cross-chain flows
• Detect whale movements and trading behavior relevant to positioning
• Synthesize data into actionable research outputs for trading teams
• Collaborate with developers on data pipelines and automation tools
• Contribute insights on emerging protocols and ecosystem trends

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of experience in either on-chain analytics, research or strategy, data science, or crypto market research — ideally within a hedge fund or buy-side research team
• Proven ability to distill on-chain analysis into actionable insights for traders
• Strong programming ability (Go, TypeScript, or Python)
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (Nansen, Dune, Arkham, Glassnode)
• Deep understanding of DeFi infrastructure, liquidity flows, and tokenomics
• Ability to communicate technical requirements and insights clearly
