IF YOU ARE

  • Experienced with 4+ years in mobile test automation, focused on native mobile applications
  • Knowledgeable in building, extending, or owning mobile test automation frameworks for 1+ years
  • Strong in one native mobile platform (iOS or Android), with readiness to develop expertise in the second platform
  • Hands-on in writing test automation code in Swift or Kotlin, beyond test scripting
  • Familiar with native mobile automation frameworks such as XCUITest (iOS) or Espresso (Android)
  • Comfortable working with Appium while not being limited to Appium-only automation approaches
  • Skilled in designing and maintaining automated tests for consumer-facing, UI-heavy mobile applications with frequent UI changes
  • Equipped with a solid understanding of iOS or Android application architecture, lifecycle, and asynchronous behavior
  • Experienced in working close to the application layer using Swift (iOS SDK, Xcode) or Kotlin (Android SDK, Jetpack)
  • Familiar with mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM, and their impact on testability
  • Confident in testing RESTful APIs and validating integrations with backend and third-party services
  • Experienced in integrating mobile automation into CI/CD pipelines, including builds, simulators/emulators, and device farms
  • Practicing strong engineering habits such as code reviews, refactoring, improving test stability, and CI ownership
  • Acquainted with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP
  • Capable of communicating effectively in English within distributed, multicultural teams
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of quality beyond test execution


AND YOU WANT TO

  • Drive mobile test strategy for a consumer, UI-rich mobile application
  • Build and evolve native mobile test automation frameworks that are scalable and maintainable
  • Develop reusable test components, utilities, and tooling using Swift or Kotlin
  • Collaborate closely with iOS and Android developers using the same technology stack
  • Participate in design, planning, and technical discussions as a quality engineering partner
  • Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of mobile applications across devices and OS versions
  • Focus on high-value automation coverage rather than test quantity
  • Reduce flaky tests and continuously improve automation reliability and signal quality
  • Support quality across the entire software development lifecycle, from design to production
  • Contribute to future-proof automation approaches, including readiness for potential Flutter migration
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, quality ownership, and continuous learning
