Python Developer – Cutting-Edge Hardware Integration

Location: London | 2-3 days in office

Salary: up to £90,000

About the Role:

We are seeking a Python Developer with expertise in hardware integration and system architecture to join a forward-thinking, profitable company revolutionizing their industry with state-of-the-art technology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation solutions, working on scalable systems and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop software for integrating third-party payment systems and storage/retrieval solutions.
Build simulators to emulate external systems, streamlining testing and deployment.
Drive the evolution of a scalable and robust software architecture.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in Python, with experience in low-level programming.
Familiarity with hardware interaction tools such as PySerial, ctypes, and JPype.
Experience with communication protocols like JSON-RPC and SOAP.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI) and containerization platforms (Podman).
Strong understanding of modular and scalable system design.
Bonus: Familiarity with media frameworks like gstreamer.
