About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in the financial and banking sector to lead complex, high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who thrives under pressure, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and can bring structure, clarity, and momentum to large organizational initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects within financial or banking environments
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across business, technical, and compliance groups
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and partners; ensure clear communication, expectation management, and issue resolution
• Drive project governance, risk management, reporting, and adherence to regulatory or internal compliance requirements
• Maintain project timelines, budgets, and scope, ensuring smooth execution in high-pressure contexts
• Facilitate decision-making and escalate obstacles appropriately while maintaining momentum
• Apply best-practice project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Prince2, Agile/Hybrid)

Required experience & qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience, including extensive work within large organizations or enterprise-level environments
• Proven track record delivering complex projects in the financial, banking, or fintech sectors
• Demonstrated ability to operate confidently under pressure and manage sensitive, time-critical initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders, external partners, and regulatory bodies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with financial industry standards, compliance requirements, and operational processes
• Professional certifications (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) are a strong advantage
