Your Mission
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. Reporting to our QA Lead in Lithuania, you will be supporting the team on ensuring high-quality product releases across multiple fintech platforms, with a key focus on end-to-end testing, release management, and developing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in assessing and improving test coverage, streamlining our release pipeline, and ensuring our automation strategy aligns with business goals. You'll work closely with developers, product managers and DevOps to maintain quality standards across both backend and frontend systems, contributing directly to the reliability and scalability of our financial products.
You will also leverage modern AI tools to enhance productivity - using them to analyze requirements, generate test ideas, co-write (and troubleshoot) code efficiently and mentor more junior QA engineers to use those tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain automated test frameworks for web and API testing
- Plan, execute and document test cases for new and existing features
- Manage and coordinate release readiness activities across multiple teams
- Identify, report and track software defects through their lifecycle
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines include effective automated testing and quality gates
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define clear acceptance criteria and testing strategies
- Mentor Junior QA engineers and contribute to improving team-wide QA processes
- Continuously evaluate tools, frameworks and practices to improve test efficiency and stability
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL and CI/CD processes
- Experience with version control (Git) and test management tools (e.g. TestRail, Jira)
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as microservices, monorepo, containerization and cloud environments
- Practical experience using AI tools for test case generation and code-writing
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in fintech or other regulated industries is a plus
Monthly Salary is up to €6,915 (before Taxes/Gross a month). The actual compensation will be based on your experience.
