Job Description
The role of Customer Operations, Service & Logistics Intern focuses on providing practical experience in managing customer orders, delivering services, and overseeing logistics within a pharmaceutical supply chain setting.
Interns gain a thorough understanding of the entire Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, learn how to optimize logistics and transportation costs, and ensure compliance with international regulations. The role also emphasizes the importance of data analytics and KPI reporting to monitor and improve operational performance. Additionally, it involves applying company codes of practice in distribution and customer interactions, supporting both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist with customer operations, including order management, invoicing, and coordinating with outsourced service providers.
- Support logistics activities, such as shipment planning, cost analysis, and maintaining communication with suppliers.
- Develop data analytics tools and KPI dashboards to monitor and improve operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements, including applying Santen’s Code of Practice in all distribution and customer engagement activities.
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in business, supply chain, engineering, economics, data science, or related fields.
- Strong early academic foundation and international exposure is preferred
- Ability to analyze data, interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop dashboards to track operational and logistics performance.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn order-to-cash (OTC) processes, customer service workflows, and logistics planning within a pharmaceutical supply chain context.

- Full Time: 5 days per week (40hrs) or Part time: 4 days per week (32hrs)
- Flexible hybrid work style. Work in the office 1-2 times per week.
