We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Bitdefender’s consumer mobile security solutions. You will shape how our mobile products are positioned, launched, and experienced, driving growth across acquisition, engagement, and retention. Your work will center on mobile-first audiences, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, storytelling, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for our mobile security portfolio, highlighting Bitdefender’s unique value and competitive advantage in privacy, identity protection, and digital wellness.
- Lead market and audience research to uncover key growth segments, behaviors, and unmet needs of mobile-first consumers. Translate insights into actionable targeting and personalization strategies.
- Design and execute data-driven go-to-market strategies in partnership with Product, Growth, and Marketing teams.
- Operate on a hypothesis-driven, test-and-learn approach to optimize activation and retention.
- Drive mobile growth initiatives , from app store optimization (ASO) and onboarding flow optimization to pricing, packaging, and subscription conversion experiments.
- Create compelling marketing assets for multiple touchpoints, including in-app messaging, landing pages, app store listings, and lifecycle campaigns. Use generative AI to accelerate content production and maintain brand consistency.
- Own product launches end to end, aligning cross-functional teams, defining success metrics, and ensuring both internal readiness and market impact.
- Develop and optimize lifecycle marketing and nurturing flows to guide customers from awareness to loyalty.
- Measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance across acquisition, engagement, and retention funnels. Leverage insights to continuously improve key business metrics.
- Act as a product evangelist internally and externally, representing Bitdefender at industry events, media briefings, and customer-facing opportunities.
- Manage global app store listings, including copy, visuals, and ratings strategy, ensuring regional relevance and alignment with growth objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within consumer security, SaaS, mobile apps, or telecom industries.
- Strong understanding of the consumer cybersecurity landscape, including trends, competitors, and emerging mobile threats, is a plus
- Hands-on experience with mobile platforms such as Google Play Console, Apple App Store, and Microsoft Store, and tools for app analytics, attribution, and optimization.
- Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for mobile or subscription-based products.
- Experimentation mindset with experience running A/B tests, interpreting results, and making data-driven decisions.
- Solid understanding of subscription funnels, user retention, and lifecycle marketing metrics (activation, churn, LTV, conversion).
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills; able to align stakeholders across Product, Growth, Design, and Regional Marketing.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
