As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying backend applications and services using the .NET ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support enterprise digital initiatives.

This position reports to the Manager, Digital Development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Maintain code quality through best practices, including unit testing and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Support deployment and release activities, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Document technical specifications and system designs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in backend development using .NET.
  • Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
