This is a unique opportunity for a mission-focused Technical Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting critical United States Navy operations. You will be instrumental in delivering actionable intelligence by owning the "last mile" of data delivery, combining data engineering and visualization expertise. This role offers significant impact, translating complex naval data into strategic insights for key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain SQL-based ETL processes to ingest, clean, and transform large datasets from disparate Navy legacy systems.
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract data from Oracle or SQL server databases.
• Utilize scripting languages, such as Python or R, to automate data workflows and perform advanced data wrangling.
• Develop interactive, dynamic dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to track readiness, logistics, maintenance, or operational metrics.
• Create executive-level visualizations that simplify complex datasets for non-technical leadership.
• Collaborate with Navy stakeholders to define KPIs and requirements for reporting tools.
What You'll Need:
• 3+ years of experience with data analysis in a professional work environment.
• Experience in Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with Python, including Pandas or NumPy, or R for data manipulation.
• Knowledge of SQL, including joins, window functions, or stored procedures.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
