About the Role:
The Data Analyst position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in data management and analysis. This role involves extracting, cleaning, and interpreting large amounts of data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and support the development of high-quality SaaS products. The position includes significant training and development opportunities, allowing you to enhance your analytical skills and expertise in using advanced data analysis tools within a dynamic, agile environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and driven to support data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Extracting data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing this data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Collaborating with engineering and product development teams to implement and refine data collection techniques.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of databases and data collection systems.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all analytics activities.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of industry developments and advancements in data analysis tools and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Experience with data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
