With the aim of strengthening our team, we are recruiting a
People & Culture Specialist - France.
The People & Culture (P&C) Specialist plays a pivotal role in implementing global and regional P&C strategies at the local level. This position ensures legal compliance, operational excellence, and employee engagement across the full employee lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor to the local management team and a liaison to HQ, the P&C Specialist supports business continuity and fosters a positive workplace culture.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and employment practices, mitigating legal risks
- Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures professionally
- Support the Country Manager with expert guidance on all People & Culture matters
- Apply global P&C policies locally, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Oversee adherence to internal policies, employment contracts, and regulatory requirements
- Manage core P&C processes including performance reviews, promotions, and headcount planning
- Lead smooth transitions for new hires and exiting employees, ensuring full procedural compliance
- Collaborate with HQ and local teams to align recruitment with business needs
- Facilitate local training initiatives and promote employee growth and engagement
- Provide workforce insights and support strategic decision-making through accurate reporting
- Support the introduction of new HR systems and tools such as Workday and LUCCA for time & attendance
- Liaise with local Payroll provider and global platform ADP
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in HR, Law, or Business Administration preferred
- Specialization in Labor Law is a strong asset
- 5–7 years in P&C roles with a focus on labor law and employee relations
- Experience in multinational environments and collaboration with global P&C teams
- Deep knowledge of local labor law and HR compliance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as high integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Fluent in French and English; additional European language is a plus
- Digital agility and proficiency in HR systems and collaboration tools
Our offer:
- Fixed term contract or freelance
- Salary between € 40.000 and € 45.000
