Job SummaryThe Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support business decision-making. This role focuses on analyzing financial performance, identifying trends and risks, and delivering insights to improve profitability, cost control, and overall financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support management with financial models, business cases, and scenario analysis
- Monitor costs, margins, and operational performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational initiatives
- Assist in financial planning and performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support audits and ad hoc financial analysis as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or corporate finance
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Excel, BI tools)
- Knowledge of German and/or EU accounting and regulatory standards is an advantage
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, proactive, and results-oriented working style
- Fluent in English; German language skills are highly desirable
- Exposure to strategic financial decision-making
