About The Job
Our client is one of the most recognizable insurance brands in the UK and globally. The projects we have implemented and maintained for this customer range from traditional annual car insurance to Netflix-like insurance subscription service. Working on the project you will go through the challenges of testing web solutions that are handling hundreds of thousands of customers each day. You will oversee QA tasks across the SDLC, including system design validation, implementation testing. All of that is accompanied by a friendly team of experienced professionals.
Tasks Include
- Coordinating and interacting with all relevant parties (e.g., PM, BA, Manager, Developers, and other QAs) in a dynamic and constantly changing environment,
- Creating, maintaining, and managing test plans and scenarios,
- Tracking quality and verifying fixes,
- Producing test reports, analyzing test results, and improving test plans accordingly,
- Giving product demonstrations to client representatives.
- Proven experience within software testing, QA methodologies,
- Experience working with Agile testing best practices for web applications,
- Experience in testing SOAP and REST APIs using scripts and industry-standard tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.),
- Hands-on experience with API testing, including creating, maintaining, and executing automated API tests (e.g., Postman, Playwright, Selenium or similar),
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB,
- Experience analyzing business requirements, functional specifications and collaborating with product owners and clients,
- Experience with collaborative documentation tools and project management software (e.g. Confluence, Jira),
- Meeting timeline and quality objectives,
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills (English).
- Experience with insurance business.
- Experience in using test management tools (for example Xray).
- Compensation: Competitive monthly salary ranging from 2500 - 3200 EUR Gross, commensurate with qualifications.
