Our portfolio ranges from transparency and traceability solutions (supplier portal, producers & trader omni-channel platform – both including product specifications, and blockchain). We support our technology with an experienced international team that help our clients with supplier onboarding, data collection, verification and validation. We also offer consultancy around sustainable supply chains, offering risk analysis, impact assessments and training for procurement & category management.

ImpactBuying’s clients are large companies like Ahold Delhaize, Jumbo, Action and Hema. We support clients who want to make a difference in their supply chain with their buying power in a cost effective way.

IB is currently redesigning and building its software tools and building a new platform to make sure that the solutions can scale up for the future demand of our clients. IB works with several external parties and is in direct contact with them with respect to planning, design and offers made to clients. In order to support our growth we are looking for a new member of our team.

The listing

  • You are part of the IB Solutions agile DevOps team and working together with outsourced team members
  • You verify software changes by a combination of manual testing and test automation
  • You improve quality aspects of the software solution by providing feedback on developer deliverables and test-metrics to the Product Owner & CTO
  • You optimize our test automation setup to actively reduce repetitive testing
  • Open to expanding your involvement in our latest stacks and peer with quality assurance engineers and tester from our other cloud solutions
  • Participate in support and maintenance activities (problems and changes) to analyse and filter to keep our backlog clean with verified bugs & issues


You will help with manual testing of functionalities that are delivered by our own IT Developers for our own IT platform. You will also collaborate with administrators and clients to provide support. You report to the CTO.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our systems run smoothly and securely on a daily basis.

Aboutall Skills

  • 5+ years QA/test automation experience & scripting
  • You have experience with manual software testing & regression testing with tools like Selenium or similar. Manuel testing is the biggest part of your role
  • You lead documenting our testing-landscape and set standards for our QA department
  • You have software development skills or eager to learn this
  • Possibilities to expand with security and performance testing (Burpsuite, Zap, Jmeter)
  • Nice to have: Microsoft SQL basic usage & access + SSMS experience by performing queries and SQL data gathering
  • Good communication skills and an active retrospective participant
  • Continues learning mindset
